PCRxSGR-002 is none other than modern metalcore up and comers @midwinterbandus The band got their start back in 2022, releasing some standalone singles for a couple years before dropping their debut full length album in early January of last year. The release, Is There Anything You Want To Say? was an instant success for Midwinter. Tracks like Red Phantom showed the band starting to hit their stride as a cohesive unit, from the blisteringly heavy intro to the ethereal chorus. The fans loved it, and the band knew they had to keep the train going.
In May of 2025, the Ohio natives started teasing their second album, A Love I Hope Will Haunt Me Forever, in several chapters over the course of ten months. A modern blend of metalcore, djent and thall. Throughout the album, Midwinter showcases the extremes of both sides of the same coin. Intertwining chaos and beauty in each individual track, the band exudes emotion throughout every second. A Love I Hope Will Haunt Me Forever is Midwinter fully discovering what they want to be. Currently taking the album on the road with Unprocessed and Allt, the band continues to steadily rise every day. Building off that momentum, we have the album pressed to vinyl for the first time, across three beautiful variants. Grab one or grab all three before they are gone!
