Angelmaker Self Titled

Coming back for round two, Angelmaker reunites with your friendly neighborhood gorillas to bring you the highly anticipated repress of their self titled album! This 2019 release has been a fan favorite amongst fans since its release, thanks to tracks like the pummeling intro I Long For Rest. Building off of the momentum of Dissentient and the Unholy Alliance split, the melodic deathcore titans explore an almost more metalcore side within the vocal style and the breakdowns. Underneath the AK-47 level blast beats, the melodic elements pop out a bit more. Casey Tyson-Pierce and Mike Greenwood shine throughout the album as well, especially in tracks like In Death and Radiance in the Light of the Dying Sun.

Let’s not hide the rest of the band either. Guitarists Colton Bennett and Matt Perrin mesh perfectly with each other, while Cole Rideout and Jesse Price hold it down as well. We’d be remiss to mention the stellar features from Evan Robillard and the legends in Merzbow. Angelmakers self titled album is a classic within their discography and in the deathcore genre as a whole, which is why we want to give it its long awaited repress! Across 6 variants and 500 copies, we give this album the Gotta Groove treatment for the first time. Don’t pay discogs prices and grab a copy before they’re gone again!
