Happy 5th anniversary to the breakout classic Twisted World Perspective! To celebrate, Fallfiftyfeet have reunited with the Gorilla Crew to bring you the highly anticipated vinyl repress. The West Virginia metalcore powerhouses came into the scene swinging, having Twisted World Perspective already in the chamber and ready to fire. Experimenting on the sounds of southern style metalcore akin to Every Time I Die and Norma Jean, Fallfiftyfeet pushes every boundary they can. A song like Commit to the Bit sees them explore every avenue, going from borderline rapping to a section similar to a screamo band. This type of musicianship is something bands don’t demonstrate until extremely later into their career, but we see Fallfiftyfeet come right out of the gate on Twisted World Perspective.
Just when you thought this album couldn’t get any better, we also have some star studded features from established heavyweight Dr. Acula and Greyhaven. If you’re able to get them to join on your debut album, you know you have something special. And while the experimentation may be at an all time high, the band doesn’t sacrifice its visceral nature. Songs like Anything That Can Go Wrong… and Perspective shows Fallfiftyfeet broadcasting how heavy they can get.
